UniTeller Digital Link
Designing a scalable enterprise white-label remittance platform and partner onboarding experience that transforms complex global financial infrastructure into repeatable, brandable digital systems.

Project
Company: UniTeller
Industry: Cross-Border Payments Infrastructure, SaaS, Fintech
Scope: White-Label SuperApp + Partner Onboarding + Website
Market: Global (120+ countries)
Role: UX Lead
Focus: Platform UX, system scalability, partner implementation
Impact: Standardized white-label framework, reduced onboarding friction
Overview
Designing a scalable white-label remittance platform for global partners. UniTeller Digital Link is a Remittance-as-a-Service platform that enables financial institutions, fintechs, and enterprise partners to launch fully branded cross-border payment experiences powered by UniTeller’s global infrastructure.
As UX Lead, I owned the experience strategy and design of the white-label SuperApp and partner onboarding system. In parallel, I led the redesign of the UniTeller website to better position Digital Link as an enterprise-grade platform.
This work required translating complex regulatory, API, and payout infrastructure into scalable, repeatable digital systems.

The Challenge
Digital Link operates at the intersection of:
• Cross-border payout infrastructure
• Compliance and AML checkpoints
• Multi-market localization
• Partner brand customization
• Technical API integrations
Each partner implementation previously required repeated clarification across product, engineering, and compliance. Flows were reinterpreted, documentation varied, and onboarding cycles slowed as teams worked through ambiguity.
The business needed:
• A standardized UX foundation adaptable across brands
• Clear onboarding configuration steps for partners
• Reduced implementation variability
• Faster launch cycles without sacrificing compliance
In a regulated fintech environment, clarity equals speed.
Speed equals revenue.
Solution - White-Label SuperApp & Partner Onboarding
My Contribution
As UX Manager, I collaborate in the design and system structure for:
• White-label SuperApp transactional flows
• Partner onboarding and configuration journeys
• Transfer setup and payout selection patterns
• Transaction tracking and status visibility
• Localization and multi-market adaptability
The design system needed to support:
• Cash pickup
• Bank deposit
• Wallet payouts
• Compliance validation steps
• Brand customization across multiple partners
Without rebuilding the experience from scratch each time.

Key Design Approach
I focused on building a repeatable UX framework rather than isolated screens.
This included:
• Standardizing multi-step transfer flows into reusable patterns
• Creating consistent compliance checkpoints within user journeys
• Reducing cognitive load in high-stress payment moments
• Designing scalable component structures reusable across implementations
• Providing clear UX documentation to reduce interpretation gaps during development
Instead of designing per partner, I designed for system scalability.
WLP - Banorte Link SuperApp

Measurable Impact
• Reduced design iteration cycles across new partner implementations
• Increased engineering reuse of components instead of rebuilding flows
• Decreased repetitive clarification loops between product, compliance, and engineering
• Improved onboarding documentation clarity, reducing ambiguity in configuration
• Smoother partner launch cycles over time as the system matures
The most significant measurable shift was structural:
A previously fragmented implementation process evolved into a repeatable UX system that scaled across brands with lower friction and greater consistency.
This directly contributed to faster partner onboarding and more predictable delivery cycles.
WLP - Remesas Reservas Website
For white-label partners that require a digital presence beyond the core product, we offer end-to-end design, development, and ongoing maintenance of a dedicated website tailored to their brand and audience. In the Remesas Reservas website, I led the strategy and execution of a fully responsive, user-centered site that clearly communicates the partner’s value proposition while maintaining strong visual alignment with their identity. This project encompassed information architecture, UI design, content layout, and UX flows optimized for clarity and conversion across devices.

Through close collaboration with stakeholders and developers, I ensured that the website not only reflects the partner’s voice and positioning but also integrates seamlessly with their customer journey. Beyond the initial build, I established scalable design components and documented UI standards to support future enhancements. By offering design, development, and maintenance as part of our white-label partner services, we empower partners like Remesas Reservas to launch and sustain a professional web presence that enhances user trust and drives engagement.
Outcomes
Cross-border payments are complex, regulated, and high-trust.
Design in this environment is not decorative. It is an operational infrastructure.
This project demonstrates:
• Platform-level UX thinking
• Systems design across multiple branded implementations
• Operational efficiency improvements
• Cross-functional leadership under regulatory constraints
• Enterprise product communication strategy
Rather than solving isolated interface problems, I built a scalable UX framework that supports global remittance operations across partners and markets.
